When someone buys a drill from the Hardware store, they are buying it because they want to hang a picture of their family that they can walk past every morning and smile at it. So the motivation isn't buying the drill, drilling the hole, or hanging the picture; it's the way it makes them feel when they look at the photo each morning. The Hardware store in selling that drill has no idea of the real motive behind that person buying it. At The Farmers Club, we think the content we deliver on a daily basis is pretty good, but we know that you couldn't give a rat's about our content, but you do give a rat's about what our content can do for you. That's why many Farmers have decided to take up the subscription and stick with it, because of what the content does for them.
Things we wrote about in the full newsletter:
How 90 per cent of the stuff we worry about in Ag doesn't actually happen.
We dig deep into what really motivates Farmers.
One WA Cropping industry pundit is tipping that the WA Harvest will get to 30 million tonnes by 2030. We agree and spell out why it can happen.
How one Mallee Farmer is acting on the risk of low moisture levels by dramatically reducing the Fertiliser rates at Seeding time.
We reminisce about B&S Balls and how much fun they were.
When we come up against a problem on the Farm, and to address it, we need to keep telling ourselves, "Well, what are we going to do about it?"
The new Goldacres travelling educator, whom we think is a genius appointment, and we explain why it is.
How I met with a husband and wife subscriber who got 100 per cent burnt out, and how their resilience is keeping them on top of things.
We also preview the Ag Apply event next week and study why this newfound Field Day like format works.
Have a great Wednesday, and subscribe to start each day fully informed.
